From the first sniff of the designer fragrance, Coco Mademoiselle, one is transported to another place: namely, the dressing room of an aristocratic woman. He says, on Chanel’s website, that this fragrance:”reaffirms the modernity of the young Coco Chanel, who overturned convention with the pure and simple lines of her inimitable style.

Coco Mademoiselle is the fragrance Coco Chanel would wear if she were 21 at the dawn of the 21st century."   This fragrance was originally only available as an eau de parfum, but in 2002 was introduced as an eau de toilette as well - this version is lighter and sweeter and is, if this is possible, even more elegant than the eau de parfum.
Coco Mademoiselle at first displays the bright scents of orange and bergamot, then yielding floral rose and jasmine notes before drying to a sensual vetiver and patchouli. The eau de toilette formulation also features notes of musk, vanilla, grapefruit and litchi.

The Coco Mademoiselle bottle is reminiscent of the iconic Chanel No. 5 bottle. The eau de toilette bottle, on the other hand, is more abstract in design/ Rectangular and vertical with a pearl white cap, it speaks of elegance and simplicity in its design.

I not long ago had the privilege to again experience this exquisite fragrance. This again painted the image of an elegant woman in my mind. I was taken back once again to my first experience with this perfume. You can probably tell by now that I am a big fan of Coco Mademoiselle. It has a bewitching blend of chypre and floral aromas which is feminine, sophisticated and sensual all at the same time.
